PM Says Vaccine is the Main Source of Success in Combating Covid-19

Phnom Penh: The Prime Minister of Cambodia and the President of the Cambodian People's Party, Hun Sen, praised Cambodia's success in the fight against Covid-19, as this success stems from the vaccination.

Addressing the Meeting and Celebrating the 137th Anniversary of International Labor Day and Visiting Party Unions, Party Branches at Factories, Employees, Students and Workers' Representatives Nationwide This Morning, April 23, 2023, at Koh Pich Theater, Phnom Penh, President Hun Sen said that the fight against and prevention of Covid 19 has re-launched Cambodia and resumed normal activities in a new direction.

The Prime Minister also said that finding a source of vaccine to give to the people is a great success in the fight against Covid-19 with the cooperation of all people.

The success of Covid-19 has enabled Cambodia to host the Asia-Europe Summit and the ASEAN Summit, which Cambodia recently hosted, which is a source of pride for Cambodia. Many leaders of the great powers came to the meeting in Phnom Penh, but it went smoothly without any problems.

The Prime Minister continued to call on the people to continue to fight against Covid 19, despite the reduction of many duties, but the disease is not over yet.

Prime Minister also urged to continue to pay attention to address the lives of poor people, especially vulnerable people such as people affected by the Covid 19 crisis.
